Dermablend dry skin foundation application

Dermablend dry skin foundation application

If you suffer from dry skin, before you apply your foundation it is important to cleanse, tone and exfoliate. This will stimulate the blood supply and give you a radiant glow, as well as remove any dead, dry skin cells.

The next step is to moisturise. This will make it much easier to apply your foundation as it soothes any dry patches. The Dermablend’s Corrective Fluid Foundation is moisturising and is extremely easy to blend so it’s not going to drag onto the skin. It goes on flawlessly and you can really build the coverage.

After your foundation, apply the concealer. When applying concealer, I recommend using your fingers to blend, as the heat and warmth from your fingertips will melt the concealer into the foundation, and give you a flawless finish.

Finally, apply Dermablend’s Setting Powder. This powder is great as it really makes the foundation last longer and you can build with the coverage. It doesn’t actually change the colour of the foundation, so even though it looks quite white and pale, it is translucent.  Just pat it onto the skin using a brush, it blends extremely well, and will seal in your foundation giving you a flawless finish.
